President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine will attend the Group of 7 summit in Japan in person on Sunday, the Japanese government said on Saturday, hours after President Biden reversed course and told U.S. allies that he would allow Ukrainian pilots to be trained on American-made F-16 fighter jets.
