South Sydney prop Shaquai Mitchell has revealed he broke down in the dressing room after his last NRL game when crippling anxiety ended his night after just 16 minutes on the field.
Mitchell started against the Bulldogs in round 19 before he was mysteriously substituted early in the game.
The 27-year-old noticed anxiety and panic start to set in the day before the game, and coach Jason Demetriou was one of the few at the club who sensed something was not right.
