Valentine Holmes has been ruled out for the rest of the regular season after being slapped with a four-game ban following Tuesday night’s NRL judiciary.
The centre was cited for a high tackle and chose to contest the charge, but was unsuccessful and will now sit out all four of his team’s remaining games. He will only return if eighth-placed North Queensland make the finals.
St George Illawarra’s Jack de Belin has also been suspended for four weeks following his hip-drop tackle on Manly’s Christian Tuipulotu.
