Portelli looking for big spring with Kimochi and Fireburn

Gary Portelli will walk into Randwick on Saturday with a Golden Slipper winner Fireburn set to return and another filly he thought would be Slipper-bound, Kimochi, ready to finally deliver.

Fireburn has been the stable star since winning the 2022 Golden Slipper and Sires Produces Stakes and will start her path to the Cox Plate in the Tramway Stakes, but Portelli has plenty to back her up this spring.
