On Thursday, Rider, 33, and Ong, 37, were jailed for 30 and 35 years respectively for what Beale described as murder of the worst kind.
No motive or intended target has ever been established.
“The impact of your actions has been horrendous for Mr Virgona’s and his family. An innocent man has had his life cut short,” Beale said.
