Kids’ greasy mitts cause golden staircase headache

The WA Museum Boola Bardip will roll out the big guns in its losing war with greasy-handed visitors tarnishing its feature “golden stairwell”.

The museum has called for quotes to apply a protective film on the 500 brass panels that line one of the museum’s most identifiable architectural features, its golden staircases.
