James Slipper named to start in Rugby World Cup clash for Eddie Jones, team news, Taniela Tupou



As James Slipper becomes the third Wallaby to play at four World Cups, he will start at tight-head prop for just the third time in what shapes as one of his biggest assignments on the world’s biggest stage: a crunch Test against Fiji on Sunday (Monday, 1:45am AEST).

His return from a foot injury comes not a second too late, with Taniela Tupou’s absence confirmed because of a “hamstring complaint”.
