Chevron workers are yet to embark on an all-out strike at the US LNG giant’s facilities in the Pilbara, but unions claim sporadic stoppages are already impacting its exports.
As of Thursday, more than 500 workers at Chevron’s Wheatstone and Gorgon operations have the right to begin 24-hour strikes, but work bans and stoppages from one hour to 12 hours long have only been taken in selected areas like export terminals.
