Beau Thomas White avoids jail for storing $6 million for drug dealer mate

An unsuspecting man who did a mate a favour by allowing him to store six large boxes in his garage for 21 days has narrowly avoided time in prison after cops found they contained $6 million of dirty money.

On Friday, during sentencing, Perth’s District Court heard the cash belonged to an organised crime group responsible for the sale of methamphetamine across the state.
