Australians hit with brutal draw for US Open tennis, as Ajla Tomljanovic returns from injury

Ajla Tomljanovic plans to make her long-awaited comeback from a knee injury at next week’s US Open, the scene of her famous upset victory over Serena Williams last year.

Tomljanovic, who last played competitively in October, tried unsuccessfully to return at the French Open and Wimbledon after undergoing surgery following her emotional withdrawal from the Australian Open.
