Andrew O’Keefe freed from custody after magistrate’s warning

Ramsden said O’Keefe was screened weekly for illicit drugs, had attended Narcotics Anonymous and was seeing a psychologist and psychiatrist, and there was nothing to suggest the treatment had not been working.

Magistrate Greg Grogin said there was no violence or threats involved, and the only aggravating factor was that O’Keefe had breached his bail in place for assault allegations relating to the same woman, which are listed for hearing in the local court in November.
