“An important consideration of the council tonight is what happens if the transfer of amenity is not facilitated.

“I’ve spoken with the owners and removing the upper floor mainly would require a reconsideration of the whole project, including what to do with Banksia.

“We have only very recently digested this condition but, if upheld, it could mean all the positive heritage streetscape benefits, heritage benefits and the investment in this development are wasted and not realised.”
